Dawn was born and raised in Wisconsin and instilled in her at an early age were strong values, religion, respect and honesty. Growing up, Dawn’s family lived modestly, though they had what they needed to live, learn and have fun. From the time Dawn was 10 years old she knew she wanted to be a nurse as she cared for her elderly grandfather, who was recovering from an illness and needed significant help.

Dawn has worked in nursing as a registered nurse-BSN since 1988. She has advanced through 37 years of nursing from staff nurse to Patient Care Manager of a fast-paced quality cardiac care unit at a world renown hospital organization. While in this patient care manager role she obtained a master’s degree in nursing leadership. Throughout her career Dawn learned quality skills in organization and management and has made it her personal goal to be a servant leader in all aspects of her life.

Dawn has led a team of healthcare professionals though each day’s challenges and helped them advance in their own personal career growth. Dawn is humbled when others show gratitude for her supportive nature.

Dawn gives thanks to her faith, her husband and family, and her friends. Through life’s struggles, Dawn has found strength and passion to move beyond and seek positive outcomes. Dawn has since stepped away from her nursing career and is looking forward to supporting Larger Than Life, LLC through ensuing that its mission, vision and beliefs are shared with others.
