Meet Bob
Early in life, Bob recognized how humans are interconnected and how much power each possesses to affect another. He noticed how one could easily disappoint, sadden, or humiliate, but also how one could uplift, enlighten, encourage and bring joy.
Bob has worked as a licensed architect since 1992, completing building projects in many market sectors including education, healthcare, retail, industrial, residential, and hospitality. He spent the last twenty-five years of his career focused on learning environments, making it his personal mission to rethink school design and construction.
Throughout Bob’s career, he had the opportunity to lead project teams, become a principal and shareholder at a leading architectural firm, and support the Learning Environments Studio as its director, leading a staff of thirty-five-plus people spanning several office locations. Here, he advanced design by challenging his team and his clients to be innovative and futuristic. His greatest reward is seeing others enjoy and flourish in the spaces he helped bring to fruition.
Becoming an author was not something Bob set as a life goal, however, as he has often told his children and others, “You can do anything and be anybody if you set your mind to it. All it takes is setting a goal, expending effort, and never giving up!” Bob left his career in February 2023 and set out to find his next thing. It took almost a year until it became clear that he would look to inspire others to be their best by sharing life experiences and the lessons that can be gleaned from them.
Larger Than Life LLC came about as Bob started to get closer to publishing his first book. Bob, however, wanted more from the company which is how the name Larger Than Life came about (Our Story).
